… that today (11 December 2010) is Dentistry Anaesthesia Day? In 1844, the anaesthestic gas nitrous oxide was first used for tooth work by Dr. Horace Wells, a dentist in Hartford,Connecticut. Wells was the discoverer of surgical anaesthesia. Thank you, Dr.
